What is the best training for becoming a loss prevention? What types of ongoing training or certifications are necessary to be an effective loss prevention?

What do non-traditional career paths look like?

Go to the losspreventionfoundation.com and they can send you information on getting LPC (certified) or LPQ (qualified). They then have testing sites all over different states. Thats a quicker way to get some trainning and help you move up. I myself am going to Northern Michigan University and completing my bachelors in Loss Prevention Management. I am a LP Manager currently and trust me what they have taught I use daily. Its completely online so you can do it too.
