move to another state. Florida is very flooded with mri and x-ray techs and the pay is very cheap.

you are right but before I move I have to find a job first. I apply they still tell me the same thing employer in Florida are telling. I am ready to move. but i can not move until I find a job.

I have been unemployed and looking for a career change.
I have been looking into a Magnetic Resonance Imaging program and career. I have no RT experience and was wondering if this is a mistake and will there be jobs available for me???

You have to go to school to become an registered RT first,before you can work in MRI. But right now I wouldnt recommend this field because there arent many jobs in it. Dont waste your time and money. Nursing has the most jobs in healthcare right now.

I am a board certified mri tech with 5 years experiance,and a board certified radiologic tech. for 12 years, with a B.A. in visual arts and i cant seem to get hired, i have been to four interviews with no result. five years ago i certainly would have landed one of those jobs,and negotiate for a sign on bonus. what happened?

Gerald; Would you be open to working as a traveler? If so, I need an MRI Tech for a 13 week assignment. All expenses paid and the pay is good. I will be happy to share details.

Hey Jason...............I am too looking for work in Radiology. I have 21 years total. i have 12yrs in MRI and also Reg.in Radiologic technology and Mammography. took year off to tend to person matters wth aging parents and now want to get bk into field. i live in Ga any help?> thanks :o)
