Here is a great site for MRI, CT, etc. You can buy the course, or do like I did, and buy only certain classes. They're a great way to learn the material for the registry... |

Here you go: www.imaginged.com/ I'd also suggest this textbook. A new version was just released, a few weeks ago: MRI IN PRACTICE So far, the modules(which you can buy individually)are really helping out. I test in less than a month, so we'll see. |

Calyn, I see how good you are at using your words in the very first sentence of your paragraph. MRI tech.....are you referring to an MRI assistant, or a TRUE MRI TECHNOLOGIST? Because, any MRI Technologist, knows we never use the word technician to describe ourselves. Which in my opinion, is VERY misleading! Your the type that sucks these poor young kids in, take their money, OH, yea, we'll give you a $500 grant. Get them an on-line degree worth nothing. What you are doing on this forum is SPAM. I hope the moderator takes it off. You cannot learn MRI Technology on line. Even with ARMRIT, they are required to do so many hours of clinicals. Your advertisement makes it sound like it's all on line. Hmmm...I sure hope no one falls for the spam crud you just put up there. Of course this is my opinion only, but, I hope any of you that read these boards get on here and shout loudly. This is wrong!

Carl Sandburg in Galesburg, IL offers an "online" MRI program. You do your clinicals at a hospital that's closer to you and then do your shool work online. There are a lot of people around here that do that. My question now is do you still need to be a radiologic technologist to be an MRI tech. The two really have nothing to do with eachtother and I heard my teacher say you are starting to be able to bypass the whole xray program. If anyone know anything about this please let me know!! :) |
