Have been an RN for 14 yrs, and in medical field for almost 20. I am looking for a program to use my BSN to obtain MRI certification. does anyone know if such an animal exists? Any and all information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

Im not really sure why you would even want to pursue a career in MRI. There are way more jobs in the nursing field and with a BSN you could even be a supervisor or managment. I can only tell you i have been a tech for 12 years I can do every modality there is except ultrasound, but there are NO jobs available in the radiology field. I found a job and drive a total of 2 hours a day to and from thats how tough the market is right now... i would stick with nursing.

I am a R.T. who is also looking for work and considering getting into another area in the medical field. |
