Have been an RN for 14 yrs, and in medical field for almost 20. I am looking for a program to use my BSN to obtain MRI certification. does anyone know if such an animal exists? Any and all information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Im not really sure why you would even want to pursue a career in MRI. There are way more jobs in the nursing field and with a BSN you could even be a supervisor or managment. I can only tell you i have been a tech for 12 years I can do every modality there is except ultrasound, but there are NO jobs available in the radiology field. I found a job and drive a total of 2 hours a day to and from thats how tough the market is right now... i would stick with nursing.
I know that there is a bridge program from R.T. to RN, but ive never heard of a program from RN to RT..

I would like to know more about a bridge program from R.T. to RN. I am a R.T. who is also looking for work and considering getting into another area in the medical field.
