Agree with Rachel, and you need to be registered that really is becoming less and less of a choice. |

Anyone know how an entry level ARRT certified MRI Tech can get a job? It seems everyone wants 1-2 years experience, but how do you get experience if no one will even consider entry level? |

The ASRT has ruined things for all Technologists. Back in the late 90's they decided to flood the market in all modalities with Technologists. I was a member of the ASRT until I started asking them questions and I found out that they decided to flood the market with Technologists without asking the members what they wanted. Technologists were able to get into advance modalities and get full time work fairly easy when we had a shortage. I wish you luck!!! We need to send the ASRT a serious message, (drop your membership and do your own CE credits I have and it is easy) and tell them to stop flooding the market. We also need to tell people that are thinking about getting into a Radiography program that the market is flooded and tell them that it is a huge mistake to get into this field. We need a shortage!!! |
