Doesn't anybody hire part-time maintenance personnel?

I've been an electronics technician for 11 years, a maintenance mechanic before that. 16 years with Post Office working on all kinds of sorting machinery, conveyors, computers, networks, PLC's, pneumatics, hydraulics, belts and pulleys, motors, ink jet printers, etc. I work nights, and am open for a part-time maintenance position from 8AM to about 1 or 1:30PM, somewhere between Sandwich and Aurora, IL. Lots of jobs available for full-time, but when I mention that I'm looking for part-time, I don't even get a reply. Personally, I think I'd be a great addition, at an even better price, since I already have benefits from the full-time job. I just need the extra paycheck. Doesn't any company want a dependable, competent employee without all the extra expenses? Pay me a decent wage, and I'll be with you for years. Win! Win!
