In the Oil & Gas Industries in Canada an experieced planner can expect the $100,000.00 as a base salary with benifits on top.

I concur however you must consider where these planners live - Usually Fort McMurray and the cost of living is VERY high - my 386sqft apartment is 1530.00 per month and I don't even have a dish washer. Most in more central regions go from arround 65k - 90k depending on your experience
