do career schools offer valid training? Would you recommend them? Which one if yes?

I am looking at taking classes with either Penn Foster or Ashworth College, both online career schools. For either Medical or Administrative Assistant. Any advice? The reason is I cant afford regular colleges and cant get enough financial aid to cover the regular colleges.

I am also wondering this. The program at Penn foster is very cost effective, and looks like you can get certified. Has anyone received the medical assistant degree from Penn foster and had problems finding a job due to this training? Has anyone gone to Ross and has anything to recommend on that training program? I am a cna and can not imagine a training program from home without lab and clinical. That makes such a differences. How would you get training on ekg equipment and phlebotomy without hands on training.
