Jobhuntsucks in Atlanta, Georgia

I received a medical assisting diploma in 1990. It wasn't a requirement to become certified. There are people I know that are and there job search has been just a difficult. I found someone in the forum saying that technical colleges are a waste of time. I disagree. There are people whom have landed great job after graduated from a tech college. The problem is the job search. Why are employers unreasonable about never wanting to hire someone who just finished college. College is a part of the requrement for the job, but you need at least 2 yrs. of experience. How do you get that experience? Next, when someone finally wants to give you a chance on the job, it has been yrs. later after your skills from college is dated. Now the employer sugesst you go back to school. It is the treadmill of life. You never get anywhere unless you know someone. Also are we going anyplace posting the comments here. The people that can help us aren't reading these. They don't care, they're employed.
