I'm a nurse wanting to get into medical sales. I have no formal background in sales other than I was the owner/opp of a small lawn/landscaping company for 10yrs prior to entering the nursing field. I have a BS in Business Managment and a BS in Nursing with my RN license (currently working as a staff nurse in the ICU at a local KC hospital). Frankly the reason I got into nursing was to open some doors to management or sales positions. I heard that the clinical background was a great thing to have. Does anybody out there have suggestions for landing that first job? What/where are the best places to look for jobs? Any cridentials or background experiences that are a must? Any and all advice is welcome.
