I have kind of backed into a medical sales job and I'm a bit lost on how to approach the job. I'm looking for advice on sales techniques, etc. One question is do you call ahead to make an appointment with a doctor or do you just walk in? What I'm doing shouldn't take more than 5 minutes of a doctor's time, however I know they are very busy people. Also is there any website/organization that offers free or cheap education for Medical Sales Reps? From what I could find all the programs mainly focus on getting the job, which is not what I'm looking for. Any and all responses are greatly appreciated.

Always just walk in, easier for them to say no if you call ahead and ask
