I have kind of backed into a medical sales job and I'm a bit lost on how to approach the job. I'm looking for advice on sales techniques, etc. One question is do you call ahead to make an appointment with a doctor or do you just walk in? What I'm doing shouldn't take more than 5 minutes of a doctor's time, however I know they are very busy people. Also is there any website/organization that offers free or cheap education for Medical Sales Reps? From what I could find all the programs mainly focus on getting the job, which is not what I'm looking for. Any and all responses are greatly appreciated. |

Always just walk in, easier for them to say no if you call ahead and ask |
