I am a Certified Medical Office Assistant/ Medical biller and Coder...im looking for a job in those genres i have been recently receiving emails from job search location websites but never any jobs or calls or emails for interviews. I have sent my resume everywhere...nothing my certifications are expiring in a few months...i have been brushing up on my skills and knowledge....volunteering is not an option for me....this is not a complaint.

I would suggest getting looking for an entry level HIM job, something to get your foot in the door. Try looking for account follow up, medical records, insurance verification or charge entry positions. Gain some experience and move up to a better job.

I started out doing charge entry and moved up to a coding job.
