It is probably not the best idea to do an online courses. Going through a program or on site job training would be much better

There're no medical dosimetry online degrees/certificates. Accredited programs are all postgraduate certifications (almost all of them require the person to have a bachelor's degree in science, preferably radiation therapy or physics) or master's programs.

Dosimetry is a highly complex job which requires a very good understanding of radiation oncology, medical physics, human anatomy, and radiobiology principles. You also need to have a very good understanding of radiation therapy equipments, calibration equipments, simulators, treatment planning and associated softwares, and other things such as mold rooms/equipments. You simply cannot gain enough understanding of all these things through online education.

I have applied for a medical dosimetry program and my interview is due on the 22nd of June but i am having a very hard time time getting a dosimetrist to shadow.. its very frustrating. can anyone help me in the maryland, DC or Virgina area?

I know they are connected in the field.
