What are the step to becoming a good medical receptionist and how do I , who's never done it get started?

I think being a medical receptionist is hard work,because I think you must know about different medical coding . Depending on what type of office your working for. You need to know about that specific medical history in order to answer question a client may have about their situation. You need to be well educated.

Not exactly true. you really just need knowlegde of medical terminology. If the patients have medical question, they must ask a nurse or docter. A receptionist isn.t suppose to asnswer medical questions, they are only the receptionist.
