I am looking for a new job in the clerical field I have been
in the medical field for long time I would like something
different for a change. Some I would like to apply for a
job in medical record in the hospital I love working with
people.

I am very interested in medial records, I'v been doing medical records for about 15 years. I enjoy working with people such as my co-workers,patients,and doctors. I really enjoy filing,pulling charts for doctors,faxing also filing charts back where the belong and etc.

I am really tired of being barrier to work with DVR, Vocational Reb. I love to work as Medical Records Clerk. The Vocational REb harassing WorkSource to not allow me to work for Medical Records. I am still looking for a job for three years.

Darn it you lives in Oklahoma. My younger sister lives in nearby Enrid, OK.

Too many barrier due to my deafness, It is violated of my right by WorkSource that I really want to work with hearing and disability people as possible with my frequent ASL, American Sign Language.

Is anyone certified as a medical coder? If so, can you please tell me where you went to school at? How long did it take? How much was it? And was it hard to pass the test?

I'm looking into getting certified, so any info is greatly appreciated!

If you have experience in the medical field, its not that hard but if you are really hardworking, no matter what you could do it....The best teacher i have was in Downey Adult School. She will really walk you through it...
