If no MLS programs nearby? |

We are moving to an area with no MLS program and one MLT program. However they also have a few universities that offer other science majors - biology, chemistry, etc. I have an unrelated BA (I only had 1 science class). Would it be better to do the MLT program to start? Or would it be better to get the classes needed at a local university and apply to a hospital MT program later (after moving to a larger city). We are hoping to move somewhere bigger in 2-3 years; if we haven't there is a hospital program that is 2.5 hours away, that I might be able to attend if I had to since it would be just for one year. But obviously that isn't my first choice. Thanks for any help. |

Take classes. They'll help you establish a foundation of science that you don't currently have. See if you like it or not. |
