Hello,
I already have a bachelor's in biology from a university and am ASCP certified as as an MLT.
I have been working for a year now in a micro lab. Anyways I want to be either a general MT or a micro MT.

I looked at the requirements and chatted with someone from ASCP, but they just keep directing me to the certification book. There are so many routes, I wanted to pick the best one for my case. I asked about route 1 which states you need an MT/MLS (ASCP) certification and a Biology degree. I asked if my MLT could qualify since I don't have an MT(MLS), but the person said they couldn't determine certification.

It's frustrating. I think option two may be my best bet or maybe route.
