Hello,

As I mentioned in the title I'm currently an MLT student. I will be graduating this Summer and be sitting for my ASCP board exam in August/September 2012. I'm only 21 and I would really like to continue my education goals by getting a bachelor's degree (Biological Sciences or Microbiology) as well. Plus I'd also like to earn my way up to a CLS to increase my job opportunities. I'm just really not sure the best way to go about this since each person I ask gives me a completely different answer.

Any ideas what my options are from here?

Im sort of in a reverse situation. I will graduate spring of 2013 with a BA in Biology. And the go to a local community college to start my 2 year MLT program. This site/forum has probably the most informative place for MLT/MT related info I have found.

Anyways from what I have understood so far is an accredited MLT + a ceratin amount of years of experience + a BA in a health related major should give you the ability to take the CLS exam ",

Im choosing this route becuase if it all works out (and if my info is correct) I get to to start working faster in a feild of interest while gaining experience that would allo more option/higher pay in the future.

side note: wtf is up with the capctcha system here. I type the 3 numbers and it takes forever (many many tries) to accept it as the correct answer. And im sure im typing everything tight.
