Hello, I am a recent graduate from Kaplan University's MT program. I am a new graduate, yet I am very willing and eager to learn and gain experience. I truly need to find myself a paying position soon, all i have been able to come across without experience are internships and I cannot afford to wait any longer for employment. I am a single mother and working from home would solve a million issues for me. If you ever have any new openings for a newbie MT please send me an e-mail. My address is jenniferwinden@gmail.com I am a very dedicated person and will do what is necessary to learn what I need to know as quickly as necessary.

I have been working as an MT for 26 years, firstly in histopathology and for the last 8.5 years with independent medical examiners transcribing reports for government bodies, insurance, Workers' Compensation, etc. The company decided to go to in-house typists rather than their outsourced typists who had been with them from the beginning. I have not been able to get work since June '11. I have worked in all disciplines, mostly enjoying orthopedics and psychiatry, but cannot pick up any at-home work again. I am my husband's carer so am unable to go work in office situations etc. My typing speed is usually around 85wpm and my accuracy is 99%. I am able to proofread my own transcription. I take great pride in the work I produce to ensure I'm not wasting somebody else's time down the track. If anybody out there has work available, I'd love to hear from you. I could start immediately and am set up for Olympus DSS Play Pro Transcription, Winscribe and Express Scribe and so long the dictation is of reasonable quality, can transcribe letters or reports in a reasonable turnaround time. Please note that I am based in Australia. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

I just found your post on here and if you are still expanding your business I would love for you to give me a chance as well. I was under the impression that this was a demanding service but I still cannot find work because I am a recent graduate. If you are interested, please get in touch with me at teresalynch@classicnet.net. Thank you

Hello!

My name is Sarah and I am a recent graduate of Ashworth College, an AAMT certified school. I finished with a 3.75 GPA and eager to start my career. Unfortunately, even with a high GPA, it is hard for me to find my first opportunity. I have applied to numerous jobs online as well as hospitals in my area. I have a great work ethic, skills, as well as pride in my work, however, if I do not have 2 years of experience employers will not give me a chance. I have started to post on any job board, blogs, or even social networks to try and get my name out there. I am hopping that there is someone out there that would love to give me a chance so I can prove my abilities and be a great asset. I would love to hear from someone in need of a hard working, dedicated MT!

You can contact me at SarahmWelch@yahoo.com

My email address is muff0310@yahoo.com. And by the way, I currently have a 3.99 GPA and expect to graduate with high honors. Thank you so much and I look forward to hearing from you.

I am a recent Asworth College graduate with a 4.0 G.P.A. I have been seeking employment but having a difficult time. It is the same story, no one wants to hire someone with no experience. I was wondering if there is anyone out there willing to hire a new graduate who is dedicated and motivated, and somewhat of a perfectionist. I live in Canada. If you are willing to give me a chance please e-mail me at :marlen2008@sympatico.ca

Hi, I am a new transcriptionist just finished an online course, looking for work at home positions. I have applied to several different places, but no luck. I have everything I need and can work any days and any shift and can start right away. Can anyone tell me where I should look or does anyone need a new MT. Thanks! Jen

bbbarker, I have also graduated at the top of my class in medical transcription. I have been looking for employment for a few months now. I have also worked in the medical field for over 15 years. I love the challenges that it brings daily. I find transcription to be motivating, exciting, feeling of accomplishment and I strive to learn on a daily basis. I research a lot, I read a lot and I test every chance I get. I love the field of transcription and if you are still expanding and need a transcriptionist that is very motivated and eager to learn daily, please drop me a line at 1goodlord@gmail.com. I would appreciate it very much. I always keep my word to do the very best, every day. I am very flexible with time.

Hope to hear from you very soon. Have a great day!
