Newbie also looking for part time. Finding it a bit difficult to find anyone that will hire you without experience. Very anxious to get started. If you find out anything let me know. |

I too think its very fustrating that we spend our time taking courses but can't find work. I have 6 months of experience but still everybody wants a year. Does anybody know of a company that will hire transcriptionists with less than a year of experience? |

I finished training in billing, coding, and transcription four years ago. Since then I've done some transcription, but mostly commercial billing, which keeps me looking at doctor's orders on a regular basis. Now I want to work from home, and it seems the two options are starting my own billing business or transcription business. I don't really want to do either. Any chance for a girl like me getting a transcription job if I'm not right out of school, but don't have years of experience doing it? I sure do know my way around the healthcare industry. |

Medivoxx hires recent graduates and those with little experience. the website is www. medivoxx.com. You have to go thru a long interview process but it's a great opportunity to show your medical transcription skills |
