Transcribing from home

My name is Djuana and I have an Associates Degree in Medical Transcription. I have worked at a small hospital in New Mexico for the last 4 years and currently they outsourced my position, so I decided to try getting a position at home, but I am not having very good luck. Any suggestions as to what steps I need to take to make this work.

I have a degree in Medical Trancription as well and I want to start a small business working from home. What advice would you give me? Please let me know I appreciate your advice.

You can try to find transcription work on freelance websites and if they are impressed by the quality of the work they might decide to use you on a more consistent basis. There are plenty of freelance websites out there, but the ones that take advantage of global labor might be much more competitive in terms of wages and it might not be the best investment of your time. You can find local transcription jobs on websites like craigslist.
