I am looking for a legitimate at home career and I thought becomming an MT might be worth looking into. Does anyone know what I need to get started. Is there potential to make enough money to be self supporting? What is the best training and the best job placement.

Thank you!

To get started as an MT, you will need some training. Unless you have had prior MT experience, most employers won't hire you without training. Here is a demo of an MT course that you can check out www.careerstep.com/demo-mt/?uid=a1403 And here is a link to a site that has useful info on what to look for in a training course: bestmedicaltranscriptiontraining.com/

If you are looking for job placement, the course that I suggested does have that option. They will help you find a job after you graduate if you get the Platinum course. Check out that demo, it is really good!

You can make a good income as a medical transcriptionist. The Department of Labor has stats on salary info here: www.bls.gov/oco/ocos271.htm

For more info on Medical Transcription you can go here: www.careerstep.com/workathome/?uid=a1403

Hope this helps!
