If you want to become an MHS you need to start by either going to school or finding a entry level mental health position. A good entry level position can normally be found working with nonprofit groups that help children foster children homeless or veterans. Check with groups like Catholic Community Services (or any other there are other ... community services that do the same thing the catholics are just one of the biggest.) or even volunteer in a mental health capacity, Crisis line etc. good luck.
