How does a company expect to retain good welder and pay them this beginners pay. Every welder should be union and I hate unions. But some companies and taking advance of the down turn. The times when you can go to work, work hard and get paid a proper days pay for a proper days work are gone. I agree I live in ca. the wages out here are terrible they want you to be ten different trades but pay you for half of just one.
