I have been a mastercraftsman for 34 years. Never had a problem finding work. I live in Illinois in the northwestern part of the state. There are no jobs here! They sent most every factory I worked in to Mexico, china, god knows where else. I NEED work! Where can I find someone who needs me? |

Sorry to hear your having a hard time. There are alot of us out here, that are in the same boat. What little factory work you can find goes to the young people. Add Office work exc; to that too. You either have to branch out to another area,or change your field.Seems employers don't want experience anymore. Sad to to say, but even if you go to college and upgrade your skills, the only job you'll be able to get is 7.00 an hr jobs. Keep trying, and maybe you'll be able to find a real EOE out there! |

checkout our website, I hope it helps Clearwater headquartered Grus Construction Personnel is changing the way their clients recruit and staff construction personnel and Skilled Journeymen / Tradesmen.
Such savvy internet computing is nothing new to Gurs Construction Personnel who uses virtual and cloud computing in the office and employs the most experienced in house internet developers to insure the tools created are efficient and cost saving for the clients bottom line. These tools drastically reduce the time spent reviewing resumes, selecting personnel, managing payroll, and interviewing candidates. For 20 years Industrial and Commercial construction and manufacturing companies have relied on Grus Construction Personnel to fill and manage its skilled workforce. Having Grus Construction Personnel manage your workforce and payroll saves time and money. Given the recent job loss statistics and the increasing number of out-of-work Skilled Tradesmen, companies like Grus Construction Personnel are uniting Skilled Tradesmen around the country and giving them top pay, per diem, and in some case accommodations for family members who travel for extended contracts. Fossil positions such as Industrial and Manufacturing Millwrights, Pipe fitters, and Boilermaker, are coming back to life all across the country; these positions once dominated the Industrial workforce and have abruptly given way to the rise of the computing workforce of the 21st century. Ironically it is this computer workforce that has brought new life into these skilled positions by enabling workers and contractors to meet and communicate online in real time! |
