I am considering a 12 month cardiac/ekg tech program in my area for 2k. I need to make at least 35k. Is this realistic? I am looking for a career switch to healthcare and would like to use this as a bridge.

Thank you!

Thank you!

I am an EKG Monitoring Technician with 6 years of experience at hospitals and at an elite cardiac interpretation company and the most I have ever made was 14.50 and hour with 1.00 night differential for a total of 15.50 hourly. At the hospitals you will average 13.00 to 14.00 an hour, if you are a noobie though you will start off lower.
