Hello, can someone with some experience give me some input as to how I can become a loan processor?

I am a very recent college graduate with a degree in economics and would like to start working in this position. I do not have any background in banking or anything of the sort though.

I would like some guidance as to how to find and obtain experience within this position.

With so many experienced processors out of work, and with Loan Officers and Underwriters willing to do Loan Processing, it may be difficult, though not impossible to find a processor position with no experience.

Perhaps you can do a processor training course or simply try to get into a mortgage company that is willing to train someone that is new to the industry.
