I have been a nanny for 1.5 years and now that the baby I started with is a toddler he knows when his parents are around and he acts in a manner that I deem unacceptable. I am his disciplinarian and I assume they are not reinforcing my work because of how I see him act around them. I am a parent and I understand children sct different when their parents are around, and they are not around all the time(just and hour a day for lunch and occasionally others) but she is pregnant and will be on maternity leave soon. I am petrified how he is going to be day in and day out!! How do I address this issue?

Hi...I am in the same predicament as you. I've been with the family for 2yrs and I was the sole caregiver but now that the mom will be having another she'll be on maternity leave for 3months! It scares me too as the children misbehave when the mom is around but not around me, usually anyway.
