So, I am a nanny to two wonderful kids, a boy and a girl who are both two, and their family is really reasonable with my time off. Our general rule is if I have to take a day off for something, they redeem the day later for a night out or a whole day over the weekend. For example, if I had a doctors appointment on wednesday I could come on saturday (my day off usually) and make it up. However, I am about to take extended time off in March for a week and i was wondering if it should be handled differently. Should I be paid normally then make up the day? or is there another solution?
Please respond as soon as possible. would like to have an answer for them this evening or tomorrow morning. :)
