Mommy on Bedrest in Livonia, Michigan

::rant:: i hate having to remind our new (albeit 19 year old) nanny to clean up after herself and our daughter. i'm afraid that my nagging is going to get on her nerves. "please don't stack and leave a bunch of stuff in the sink; it makes it hard for others to use the sink."

i'm going to get passive aggressive and just start piling food for the disposal and dishes on top, and that may not be productive!

has a nanny i would have no problem if my employer said"hey by the way would you mind just clearing out the sink for me?"if she has a problem with that then maybe you should search elsewhere

I would just nicely ask her to help with the dishes. It is not an unreasonable request. If she doesn't follow through find a new nanny.
