I am currently considering going back to school for a Associates in Network Administration. But, the thing is that, every time I search for these jobs on the internet, all I find are jobs for people with a wealth of specific experience. I read somewhere on here that most Network Admins start out in help desk jobs.

Is that true? Would I be able to find a job with a Associates in IT and a BA in a unrelated subject?

Any advice would be helpful.

I have the exact same question. I want to get involved in Networking but I'm 33 and I don't want to wait until I get a bachelors degree to be able to start looking for a job. Any help appreciated.
