Position: IT Consultant – Network & System Administrator
Position Type: Contract – 1 month
Location: Markham, ON
No. Positions: 1

You will become an integral part of the IT team. Your responsibilities will be:

- Configure, fine-tune and troubleshoot network devices to provide optimized network connectivity among all offices and Internet while maintain information security and integrity within corporate network
- Diagnose and resolve problems associated with DNS, DHCP and email servers to ensure employees in all location have access to above services
- Monitor and troubleshoot web, application and database servers to ensure services over the Internet are accessible at all time

Qualifications

Must have at least 2 years experience in:
- Linux server (RedHat and CentOS) environment, knowledge of Solaris a plus
- Windows 2003 environment
- Sendmail and postfix, knowledge of Exchange a plus

Excellent knowledge of:
- Microsoft Active Directory
- DNS, DHCP in both Linux and Windows environment
- Configuring and tuning Apache, Tomcat and MySQL

Working experience with
- Server load balancing and clustering
- Cisco firewall and switch
