Hi, I'm looking for a network discovery (preferably SNMP) that will map out my network and keep learning it afterwards (ie. Kinnetics which is now obsolete).

Any ideas?

Thank you,

Sean

Solarwinds is a great networking tool to discover your network. It is mainly an enterprise bit of software but still if it is your home or small office network you could find it handy. It is a bit expensive, but i do believe they offer a 30 day trial so you can have a look at it.

Also for something a little easier look at another program called "Whatsup" this will map out your network and tell you what is up and what is down, will also provide a small amount of statistics on the machines that it monitors etc... I use this in conjunction with solarwinds, I use this for it mapping tool and solarwinds for its more in depth data.

Hope this helps
