I'm a network administration major working one a priority queuing project for class. We are going to set up VOIP and do a file transfer to demonstrate how it works; however VOIP is not cooperating. We have a CISCO call manager plugged into a switch and the switch runs to a router on one end. On the other we have just a switch and and router, both routers connected via serial link. We can ping the call manager from the switch on the far side of the "WAN" link but for some reason the IP phone will not receive an IP address. We have configured the IP helper address on the router interface attached to the switch but still no luck. |

I think this sounds like a very techical problem I hope you was able to get the issue resolved I know what it is like trying to get a ip iddress and I have had some issues in the past regarding this. It seems you are having more of a issue rather then hiring people though good luck. Sarah56
