Senior Network Engineer Contract MO

This position may require shift work, also including weekends and holidays.

The position will require technical expertise in Clients CBB, DSL, Cable, and OC192 platforms. Candidates applying for these positions will need to possess a very broad technical knowledge and understanding of large scale, WAN networks. An advance understanding of SNMP, MIB structure, OSPF and BGP Routing Protocols, and switching VLAN design and setup are required. Experience with MPLS on an LDP switched network is a must. They must possess the expertise in performing complex assignments and providing support for troubleshooting and maintaining IP networks, concentrating on facilities ranging from T1 to OC192 and Cisco high-end routers and switches (12xxx/75xx/65xx/36xx/29xx). A solid background in digital/SONET facilities provisioning and troubleshooting is also required. A solid understanding of DHCP principles and ability to interface with server management groups supporting IP management is a must.

Excellent communication skills. The candidate should have basic UNIX administration skills.
