What are typical nurse case manager salaries?

Do some companies pay a lot more for this position than others? What does a top earner make in this field?

What skills should you learn to increase your salary?

When I was hired as case manager I was still an LVN. During my 90 day probationary period I passed the NCLEX-RN exam. When I took hold of my license I submitted to my supervisor hoping that I would get an increase in salary. My supervisor explained to me that I will not get an RN pay until I finished the 90-day and my job description will be changed? The RNs that I asked told me that it is not right, please comment on this.

When I worked in home care there was an LVN who had been working for our company for many years and upgraded to an RN. They told her that she was not eligible to hire on as an RN because she didn't have any RN experience. She ended up quitting and working somewhere else for a few years, then came back and was hired on as an RN.
It was very confusing because she was a very competent nurse. It didn't seem to matter though.
