I currently have a Nurse Manager opening~

With a major multi-hospital system located in the Springfield Illinois area.

Below are a recap of the duties. This is a "seasoned" Nurse Manager role.

Reports directly to the CNO.
? Assumes 24-hour accountability for unit management and quality of patient care on a designated unit(s)
? Ensures the enculturation of the Forces of Magnetism on the unit
? Maintains positive physician, interdepartmental and intradepartmental relations as well as positive employee morale
? Coordinates the management of patient care with the unit staff, other departments and the nursing supervisors/administrators

REQUIREMENTS
>RN REGISTERED IN THE STATE OF ILLINOIS.
>AT LEAST 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN ACUTE CARE NURSING WITH DEMONSTRATED
LEADERSHIP/MANAGEMENT SKILLS.
>BSN HELD OR NEAR COMPLETION; MASTER’S A PLUS.
>WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF THE ANCC MAGNET RECOGNITION PROGRAM MODEL AND
STANDARDS
