I am also having a hard time deciding but this is what I have researched so far:
-the PNCB is more clinical based questions and offer the exam only 3 times out of the year and more widely recognized assoc.
-the ANCC is offered year round but people have said that the questions are poorly written and vague
-The PNCB will have your results the day you take your exam
-The ANCC will mail your results in 3-5 business days
-PNCB your certification is CPNP (certified ped NP)
-ANCC your certification is APRN-BC (Adv practice RN)
It seems that the ANCC is an easier exam but when I would want to sign my name with CPNP vs. APRN-BC.

Does anyone know if the ANCC FNP web course help with the ANCC exam??? I am thinking about taking it for review. Then they have questions you can purchase for extra $100.00. Total $500.00 this is so much money.

Take the ANCC. Lots of therapeutic type questions and look over your research.
