Hello,
Just like everybody else I am having a hard time getting past the "new grad" etiquette. I have been actively looking for a job for the past 3 months and would appreciate any leads at this point.
Thanks,

You may want to consider moving out of south florida as the area is saturated with midlevels. This makes getting a job very difficult unless you know someone or have been working at a facility as an RN and they hire you as an NP. It took me 8 months to get my first job, whereas my classmates moved and were hired for more money, in better positions, hired within 2 months of graduation. My classmates make from $10-$25k more per year than me. An example is a minute clinic in TX pays $47/hr, here the same clinic chain pays $38. Supply and demand.

Would be interested in Texas, I have a couple of NP positions that do no require experience and is will to take a new graduate.

Hi DMB Healthcare, I am also looking for an NP position - where in Texas are your opportunities? Thank you!
