Hello, everyone and thank you so much for your time. 4 years ago I was arrested for misdemeanor possession of marijuana in my home state of Georgia. The charge was supposed to have been expunged under the first offender act but , I'm still afraid that I will not be able to pass a background check. Will this charge hinder me from my dream of becoming a nurse?

If it is over 2 years, you dont have to disclose it in background. But
to be sure, you should try to expunge this record first. But for State or
Government jobs, you need to tell them, saying this case has been dismissed.
