scorpio in Mcallen, Texas said: Oh very very easy, all non for profit hospitals have unlimited supplies of h1b and they can sponsor all year round, they do not have a cap on their h1bs. Once you are a Nurse practitioner or Nurse anesthesist just apply and ask them to sponsor you, you will be in EB 2 category for green card, which means after people who are famous scientist, researchers or polititians, you will be next in line for green card. Its an expediated process and there is hardly any one in EB1 category.

Can you please provide the name od non-profit Hospital in Bay Area , CA .I am also looking for H1 sponsor.
Can you please let me know the name of non profit hospital in bay area,CA. i am looking for sponsor for H1B too

Hi georgie! I was on the same boat with you , I passed the NCLEX-RN (CALIFORNIA) in 2007 but the board can't issue my permanent US-RN licence bec. I did'nt have the SSS#, was so worried. My recruiter helped me because it was impossible that time for me to get in the US, so they endorsed my license in Arizona and was accepted ( i'm also holding CGFNS cert. )

Hi I have done my Masters in public health(MPH) and wanted to get RN. But I would like to know that, does it make difference to H1B approval with MPH,RN? If I do RN am I having chances to get H1B approval?
Does anyone has any idea? Moreover, Once we get approved H1B for "Nurse Manager or Administrator" position, are we able to change our job profile afterwards from administrative to clinical work as RN?

Thanks in advance

For whatever reason--after getting your education and qualification docs all together, you are unable to get employment as a nurse in the US because you do not have an employment sponsor, a visa and the F1 you have and the training extension has run out. Unless the Dems retake the House of Representatives in 2014, there will be no immigration bill. Not much chance of that as the Tea Party continues to run amuck :-( This is my offer for a fix your problem Green Card. Show me that you are decent, honest, trustworthy, interested in home ownership, willing to work and continue with you career attending school to get your MSN, single with no kids and legally eligible to marry, and I will consider making you my legal marital partner. Want to exchange details email carl444@verizon.net I have three nurses in my family and also two daughters attending nursing college. We live in western MD and there are employment opportunities locally and within commuting distances if you are well qualified.

It is illegal for a individual to give unsolicited legal advice on this site and obviously no real lawyer would do that. If some one decides to marry another person for what every reason and it is not illegal under US law, that is their personal choice and business. In this country there are men marrying men and women marrying women--or haven't you heard? So stop trying to interfere in the private, legal decisions of others and keep your gratuitous opinions to yourself, thank you.

If it ever comes out that you are attempting to marry anyone for immigration reasons then that is illegal. The reason you are trying to intimidate me is you know I make a valid point. Also this is a public message board about getting jobs. The last I checked marrying anyone in the US was not a job at all. I am a US citizen and you can not bully me or intimidate me with your attempts at intimidation.

www.legalmatch.com/law-library/article/sham-marriage-lawyers.html
.
This is from a website so beware anyone thinking of doing this. Also shame on anyone who encourages it.

"What Are the Legal Consequences of Sham Marriages?
Sham marriages carry severe penalties with them. For example, if the sham marriage is based on immigration fraud, penalties can include a $250,000 and a prison sentence of up to five years in a federal facility. Also, a non-citizen party can become subject to penalties like deportation, loss of their current immigration status, and could possibly be barred from re-entry into the United States.

If a sham marriage was entered into in a non-mutual way (i.e., one party intentionally deceived the other), the guilty party may have to pay retribution, especially if the arrangement resulted in losses to the innocent party. In many cases the marriage will be legally annulled. Serious offenses may be recorded on one’s criminal record.

Legal authorities may use a variety of factors to determine whether a marriage is based on legitimate reasons, such as: the length of the marriage or engagement period, differences in the spouses’ ages, previous marriages to foreign nationals or U.S. citizens, the existence of children living outside the U.S., and large differences in the spouses’ incomes."

There are hundreds of nursing students graduating every year looking for jobs: why do you foreigners think it's ok to flood the country taking our jobs? Our family has fought in wars defending this country and you're all asking how to get visas to stay here?
It's morally wrong and it's hurting America. There are plenty of unemployed American nurses that need jobs and foreigners are depressing the wage market. Soon enough wages will go down to 50k a year because of competition and medical assistants will take over some nursing duties. Hospitals here in nyc have closed and CMAs are performing tasks that nurses used to do

Sadly, I agree. I hate to see any nurse struggling for a job--but more so American nurses. Sorry, but these loop-holes need to end. Start writing, e-mailing, calling your state nursing boards, representatives, etc. This needs to stop. NOW. There is ZERO reason why in 2014 in the USA with so many new grad. nurses and experienced nurses we have a web board site devoted to helping nurse/immigrants??? Are you kidding me? Shut this down!!! Send it to Switzerland, Sweden, whatever!
