The Army is going to a new classification system for the General Schedule (GS) workers. It's called NSPS. The 2/2 probably has something to do with that. The 0610 number is the job classification for an RN in the government system...whether it's Army, VA, Air Force. Most RNs are GS 9 to 12, depending upon your specialty..ICU, Med-Surg, etc. You can Google "GS Payscale" and it will come up with the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) website. They have all the info there.

Good Luck,
Joe
