My name is Matt, currently I am a student at Cleveland State University obtaining my Masters of Public Administration with an emphasis on Health Care Management: Long-Term Care. I am currently looking for a position with a Nursing Home or some other Assisted Living facility to begin my AIT. Holding a masters I will need a 6 month or 1000 hour internship. I am looking for paid or unpaid currently at a facility with 125+ beds. I hope to get the paper work rolling, so that I maybe able to start July 1st; which means I must find a preceptor before the April 21st submission deadline. If anyone knows of any available positions or you yourself has a position available. Any information would be beneficial. |

I have a BS in Healthcare Management. I would like some guidance on how to find an AIT program in the Dallas area. Does anyone know how many hours I would have to put in, and when can I take the Boards? Any suggestions, feedback will be appreciated! |
