job market after school?

I was wondering if anyone could provide some insight on the OT job market for new grads. I have heard SNFs have the most jobs available for OTs right now...is this true? Which settings will hire new grads and which settings will pay new grads the most? Are there usually sign-on bonuses and student loan assistance for OT jobs? What is an average starting salary like for a new grad and how quickly is your salary likely to increase? I am in the Western NY area, so if anyone could give information specific to here, that'd also be great! Info pleaseeee...I have been asking this all over with no answers. :)

Hey, I live on rochester too!! I go to RIT and have begun setting up my applications for grad school. To be honest I think there is a great need for the occupation.
