I worked as a PBX Operator at a major hotel here in Atlanta. The key to these position is to have a customer service mind and attitude. As long as you worked in some type of position where you had to interact with customers on a daily basis then you would be a possible candidate for a PBX Operator position. You must have a pleasant voice, ready to help attitude and, a positive demeanor.

understanding of what the customer really wants.
t is a wonderful opportunity to gain knowledge about departments that might interest you if you wish to further your career beyond PBX. You also gain a lot of valuable knowledge regarding guest service.
