Your most valuable asset is to be super relaxed and become the interviewers friend. The best PBX operators are "people persons"
your whole attitude should be of a sincere people helper mode.
Just be calm and project your voice to a voice you would not have any problems listening to on the radio. The callers must feel the enthusiasm and concern you have in directing them to whichever department they are asking for. Another important item is to dress appropriately - as this also tells who you are really like.
