To whom it may concern,
My name is Tonja Gray and I am trying to relocate to another state. I am not asking for pay to relocate. I am only trying to get a job before I make that big move. I already have somewhere set up to live with my cousin. I applied for a position in packaging at McCormic & Company in Atlanta,GA on your website and I need you to let employer's know that I am not asking for money to relocate. Thank you.

I must admit I am curious as to just what you are asking for or expecting. Are you wanting someone to find a job for you and set up your life without any effort on your part?

Who are you asking this question of? Are you expecting that some person at random here will be wanting to play the role of parent to you and give you a free home?

I also do not understand your statement about it being difficult to find a job and a place to stay "out of town." Why do you think it is more difficult to do that in another city or state than it is where you are?

I ask these questions not so much for answers but to have you ask yourself these questions. In essence, you might as well post an ad for someone to adopt you and solve all your problems.

The solution to your situation is to search for a job using the city or state where you wish to live - and apply. If hired, then find a place to move into. Even if you already lived here in Atlanta you might find that it would be difficult to travel each day from one side of the city to the job on the other, and have to move to that side of town to reduce your commute. Likewise, if you got a new job and was coming from St. Louis, you could just as easily move into a motel or hotel room here and search for a home on weekends while working during the week.

Sorry, but I just don't see the dilemma that requires help because of moving from one area to another.

Set up a 1800 number forwarded to your cell number. Then on your resume, use the address of a motel local to your potential employer. Lie you ass off and tell them you have already moved to the area and are available for immediate placement. If you get the interview and your housing becomes a question tell them you have temporary housing and will be permenant in 30 days.
