Are jobs in this industry on the rise? Are there any sub-sectors that are growing?

Where are the jobs? Which places have the most painter opportunities?

No the industry is on the way down, there is no where near the painting on projects today that there used to be. Money is tight all the way accross the board, trust me Ive dealt with all of them on a large scale for many years. Paint on any job site is the weak link, and the powers that be are always trying the deleat it from the job site. If your not already up to your neck in this industry Id walk the other way. It way to complicated to explain the market here. The jobs are scatterd and sparse. You look around and can always see thousands of structures that need painting but dont hold your breath waiting on the opportunity to have at it. My hats off to anyone who wants to throw theres into this market. Theres alot better ways to make a living out there..Hope this helps Dave
