when I am interviewing someone for a painter position in London Ontario the first question: have you painted before and for who and where and how long and why are you no longer working for them?
If you have no experience I ask why do you want to paint? it better not just be I need the money there is so many other jobs better suited. Most of these people that answer it this way never stay passed the first pay check so why would I waste my time training you.
I might in even ask why would I want to spend the time and effort to train you and loose money in the process. I am blunt I am looking for someone that knows who they are and why there sitting in front of me.
Tips: Organized come to the interview with referrals, numbers, and what you expect you are hiring me as much as I am hiring you why waste each others time get what you expect out on the table. By asking questions do not allow them to dominate the interview we are always looking for strong, confident, a doer.
