What are the top 3 traits or skills every paramedic must have to excel?

For me I feel the top 3 traits a paramedic must have are patience- dealing with many different types of people, you are gonna see and hear it all! Never get "tunnel vision"- thats when you'll screw up, always expect the worst/most life threatening because as soon as you think you've got it all figured out, it will change! And the biggest thing, is to realize that you will never be done learning, ever!!!

Oh and an old instructor told me, Remember to have fun and take time for yourself. Dont make your job become your life, you'll burn out really quickly!
